We had initially seen Nicole when she photographed a friend's wedding, and once we saw the photographs that she took, we knew we had to book her for our wedding too. We ended up booking her for both our engagement photos and wedding day and were extremely happy. We didn't want posed or rigid photos and Nicole did an amazing job of loosening us up, getting us moving and capturing the essence of our relationship and our wedding day. She is so much fun and a ball of energy that you can't help but have a good time when you're in her presence. Nicole was really timely in communicating with us, she was on time for our engagement session and our wedding and we got our photos back WAY before what was agreed to in our contact, which was amazing because we got to share them sooner.

"Nicole has been amazing since we first contacted her. I was an international bride so everything was logistically harder. We had a zoom meeting to discuss what we were planning and knew from that moment that Nicole was the photographer for us. She helped us with vendor suggestions, where to stay and even planned our timeline for the elopement day. We had our engagement photo shoot the week before the wedding which was so useful for getting to know Nicole and being comfortable in front of the camera. I was actually quite nervous about it but it was so much fun! The day of the wedding Nicole was fab. She has so much enthusiasm and all of our guests were saying how much you can tell that she genuinely loves what she does! We got our engagement photos exactly a week after she took them, and the turn around on the wedding photos was outstanding. We had the 6 hour package and the photos were back in just over 2 weeks, when we were anticipating 30 days. Nicole has taken some behind the scenes videos too which she is uploading on social media which are beautiful. My day was exactly what I wanted an Nicole was a massive part of that. "Where do I even start! Nicole was recommended to us by our family friends during our search and we are SO glad we contacted her. We knew as soon as we met her that we wanted to hire her, she greeted us with a big hug and bought us tea, was so friendly and professional and we instantly felt comfortable with her... "Nicole is simply fantastic. My husband is from Calgary, but we live in Ohio. And we knew we wanted to get married in the Rockies. Nicole was recommended by a family friend and I'm so glad to have worked with her. From the first email Nicole went out of her way to make sure that we had all of the things we would need so that we'd have a simple and stress-free wedding. Since we're far away we weren't able to trial hair and make-up people or interview officiants. Nicole helped us find our people (hey Jamie-Lee and Jodi!!). We've never been married before, so there were things we hadn't thought of but Nicole made sure we had everything we needed. As a photographer, Nicole was even better! She made us feel comfortable, pretty, and classy. "Alex and I had an absolutely wonderful first photoshoot experience with Nicole! Right from the moment we first reached out to her through email, Nicole was super responsive and friendly. She accommodated to our preferred photoshoot locations and even offered to help with our transport. We had some issues with the transport and parking on the actual day of our shoot due to the overwhelming popularity of the place. Although it got us feeling a little disappointed that we werent gna be able to take our photos at Moraine Lake, Nicole made up for it by giving us such an awesome experience at Lake Louise. In fact, we ended up feeling even happier about having had the shoot at Lake Louise than Moraine! She made us feel so comfortable throughout the shoot and even agreed to helping us capture some memorable moments on video. Her methods of making us laugh for the candid moments were so cute too. I didn't know that Alex had actually contacted Nicole separately to plan a surprise proposal for me during the shoot! You guys were so smooth about the whole plan that I was really caught off guard! So thank you again Nicole, for being part of it! After we said our goodbyes and thankyous, we realized that Alex had left his phone in Nicole's bag! Nicole was so kind to quickly make a trip back to the lake to return us the phone. We are really grateful for that. Most importantly, the photos turned out amazing! "I found Nicole through Instagram while looking for wedding photographers. I had emailed about 30 photographers and slowly narrowed it down. After meeting with Nicole we knew she was the one - first off she bought us Starbucks (good start), showed us the photo books we would get at the end (awesome bonus, great quality books), and was just so kind and funny! Our engagement photos went so well and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. She made us awkward people feel so comfortable and brought our love out in photos. As for the wedding.. "Nicole is hands down one of the best photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. At the beginning of the year, my girlfriend and I planned a trip to Banff National Park, where I planned to propose. After stalking my girlfriends Pinterest page I noticed she definitely wanted a photographer to capture the moment. Logically, I did what any good boyfriend would do and found a photographer. I reached out to about a dozen photographers in the Banff area to shoot my proposal. I thought it was going to be a tough choice on a photographer because I am from the US and knew nobody in the area or anything about photography. It became clear quickly that Nicole was by far the best. She was always quick to respond to emails and happy to give advice and recommendations even though I wasn’t even a client yet.Once Nicole said she would be happy to shoot the proposal we immediately began planning. She made the process so stress-free and easy. We Facetimed, emailed and texted until we had the perfect plan for my surprise proposal at Moraine Lake. On the day of the proposal I had no way of communicating with Nicole because I did not have an international phone plan. This made me incredibly stressed all day because any slight change in the day could have derailed our whole plan. Sure enough though I was able to get my girlfriend in the exact location that Nicole and I had planned on meeting for the surprise proposal. I made eye contact with Nicole and knew she was there to capture everything. Although, the only thoughts running through my mind were those of me getting down on one knee. My girlfriend and I were able to get some time to ourselves away from the crowds and I knew it was the perfect opportunity to propose. As my girlfriend looked out at the beauty of Moraine Lake I got down on one knee behind her. When she turned around the look on her face was priceless. I got the yes and Nicole was there to capture everything on camera! It was such an amazing moment and I’m incredibly thankful Nicole was there to capture amazing photos of all of it.The photos Nicole got of the proposal are surreal with Moraine Lake in the backdrop. Since posting some of them on social media, I can’t tell you how many comments we’ve received from family and friends about the beauty of the photos.Not only did she shoot the proposal, but she also did an engagement session for us at Lake Minnewanka! It was such a great experience working with Nicole and the photos she captured for us are more than we could have ever expected. "Nicole eased any stress from day one.."
"Back in February, I knew that I wanted to have a surprise proposal in Banff, specifically Moraine Lake. I had the tall task of trying to find a photographer to capture the moment. After emailing a bunch in the Calgary area, I was down to 3, with Nicole being one of them. I had shown all 3 portfolios to a bunch of my photographer friends and they all agreed that Nicole's was the most impressive. Immediately after telling her that I wanted her to capture this special moment, I knew that I had picked the right one. From the get go, she made an effort to get to know me and my future fiance, all while keeping it a huge secret, something the other photographers didn't do. We had planned a skype session where I would discuss details of how I would like everything to happen. What blew me away was how helpful she was in helping me plan this out. I had never been there before, so it should have been stressful, but Nicole eased any stress from day 1. After we had a plan in place, I was worried about the weather. Nicole was so flexible in allowing us to pick a date where it was forecasted to be sunny and warm! She had blocked off 3 days, which was so nice from the clients perspective. We swapped numbers and were constantly messaging back and forth and finally, when the big day was here, she was right there to capture everything. She went above and beyond. The weather eventually became really cold and even rainy, but Nicole still allowed us to continue the photoshoot exactly how I wanted (despite going a little overtime). My now fiance, for 1 month, still asks me every day how I picked such a perfect photographer. She kept saying how Nicole made the whole photoshoot so easy and comfortable and also super fun! After getting our prints, it was just another verification that I had indeed picked the right photographer. I would have absolutely no problem flying her to my wedding because that's how amazing she and her quality of work is.
