Long story; C & I got engaged December 2019… we planned our big day for August 2021, because COVID was surly going to be over by then… NOT LOL! Planning a pandemic wedding definitely had it’s challenges & I cannot express enough how thankful I am that we had Nicole! We booked vendors and canceled vendors, moved 7hrs away… at one point or another I questioned vendors, flowers, food, guests… groom (lol jk). The ONLY thing I never second guessed was Nicole; she pivoted with us through every change, sent multiple timelines, called us to confirm details & promptly replied to EVERY frantic email I sent. Regardless of what our big day looked like, we knew Nicole was going to capture it for us!
Nicole went above and beyond, and truly is a diamond. Her personality almost outshines her talent; kind, genuine & SO organized. I booked Nicole because I was obsessed with her eye/ art… I rave about Nicole because she is a beautiful person, inside & out. Hire her. You won’t regret it. "

"Planning a wedding through the pandemic was definitely not simple, but Nicole made the whole process so much easier. She kept us on track with timelines and frequent updates and was extremely flexible with our changing plans. Nicole has an awesome amount of enthusiasm- enough to make two awkward camera shy people look great! She was also so patient with our sometimes crazy pupper who did not always want to sit still for photos. Her photos speak for itself.. she can make the side of the road look like a dreamy mountain escape. After the wedding, Nicole kept us excited by sending us or uploading sneak peeks of photos to her Instagram. We received our full gallery in under 2 weeks! "When my husband and I were looking into hiring a photographer for our wedding, we knew that choosing the right one was going to be one of the most important decisions we'd have to make during the planning process. It is through the photos that we'll be allowed to relive potentially the best day of our lives over and over. There were a lot of choices out there but once we found Nicole, we knew she was the one. From the very first few messages exchanged over Instagram to our first Facetime meeting with her, Nicole's passion and positivity shone through and captivated us. Aside from the obvious talents and experience that she has in capturing special moments that can be seen in her portfolio, what really made Nicole stand out from the hundreds of other photographers out there is her way with people. She made us feel so comfortable and it never felt like "just a photoshoot". Every photo that she carefully took of us captured real laughter, genuine tears and pure joy at that exact moment - we were never just directed to smile or to pose a certain way. She worked the same magic with our guests on the wedding day and it really showed in our photos!
We had to cancel our original wedding date due to COVID-19 and were forced to make alternate arrangements, but Nicole provided us with so much support by being accommodating, flexible and understanding. We felt supported by her every step of the way. During the time we were having to adjust our lives to the pandemic and lockdown, Nicole even reached out and provided us with a complimentary virtual home photo session which was so much fun and allowed us to see the positives of a crumby situation!
There are truly no words to describe how amazing Nicole is. She delivered the finished engagement and wedding albums to us before her estimated time frames, she was always punctual and well-prepared for the sessions, she was accommodating to all our special requests, and truly an irreplaceable part of our wedding! "Where do I even begin!! Nicole was absolutely amazing! When my husband and I had to cancel our big Calgary Wedding it was the worst day ever. But we decided we wanted to elope in BC, we didn’t want to postpone being married! Once we decided we were doing that, Nicole was the first person I messaged. She did our engagement photos and she had always been my dream wedding photographer. I needed her to come to BC, But it was 8hrs away! I message Nicole and right away she was on board! "Where do I even start! Nicole was recommended to us by our family friends during our search and we are SO glad we contacted her. We knew as soon as we met her that we wanted to hire her, she greeted us with a big hug and bought us tea, was so friendly and professional and we instantly felt comfortable with her... Not to mention she also had an amazing body of work to show us, we were sold! From that moment on everything was so easy, we trusted her with everything. She is super organized and quick to respond, during our engagement shoot, she made two people who hate getting there picture taken look like naturals. We had to change our venue last minute and Nicole just rolled with the change of location. Leading up to the wedding she was in contact with us to make sure everything for the big day ran smoothly and that we would get all the photos we hoped for. She gave us that and so much more. And you better believe she had a plan B, C, and D just in case! On our wedding in particular, we got hit with some not ideal weather. We decided to try and do photos outside anyways, even though it was freezing! I swear it was Nicole's high energy that kept us all smiling! "Nicole has a gift when it comes to wedding photography. She really knows how to make the whole experience fun for the couple and for everyone else involved and it translates so well to the photos she captures! I could not be more pleased with the way our photos turned out (engagement and wedding). My husband strongly dislikes having his photo taken and Nicole made it so he felt more comfortable in front of the camera and he ended up really enjoying himself. She is extremely personable and professional and communicating and planning with her was a smooth process. She has a very unique style to her photography which I personally love. Our photos tell a fun story! She did take some more traditional photos as well so it was a nice mix. I was also a big fan of her price point. "Nicole was wonderful to work with right from the beginning. My husband and I felt an instant connection with her upon our first meeting, and she put us right at ease. She totally grasped the look that we were going for, and when she produced beautiful engagement photos for us we knew we were in good hands. Nicole is incredibly friendly, engaging, silly, responsive, and professional. She was extremely timely in delivering our photos to us (in just 3 weeks - wow!) and they turned out fabulously. She's also incredibly reasonable in her pricing. Our wedding day was calling for rain (which it did rain) and she came up with a list of possible alternative options. Ultimately, I told her that come the day of, we would leave her to make the judgment call of where to go and when. We trusted her completely that she would provide the type of photos we were looking for (which was mountainside/outdoorsy) even if it was raining - which she did! "Nicole is simply fantastic. My husband is from Calgary, but we live in Ohio. And we knew we wanted to get married in the Rockies. Nicole was recommended by a family friend and I'm so glad to have worked with her. From the first email Nicole went out of her way to make sure that we had all of the things we would need so that we'd have a simple and stress-free wedding. Since we're far away we weren't able to trial hair and make-up people or interview officiants. Nicole helped us find our people (hey Jamie-Lee and Jodi!!). We've never been married before, so there were things we hadn't thought of but Nicole made sure we had everything we needed. As a photographer, Nicole was even better! She made us feel comfortable, pretty, and classy. "Alex and I had an absolutely wonderful first photoshoot experience with Nicole! Right from the moment we first reached out to her through email, Nicole was super responsive and friendly. She accommodated to our preferred photoshoot locations and even offered to help with our transport. We had some issues with the transport and parking on the actual day of our shoot due to the overwhelming popularity of the place. Although it got us feeling a little disappointed that we werent gna be able to take our photos at Moraine Lake, Nicole made up for it by giving us such an awesome experience at Lake Louise. In fact, we ended up feeling even happier about having had the shoot at Lake Louise than Moraine! She made us feel so comfortable throughout the shoot and even agreed to helping us capture some memorable moments on video. Her methods of making us laugh for the candid moments were so cute too. I didn't know that Alex had actually contacted Nicole separately to plan a surprise proposal for me during the shoot! You guys were so smooth about the whole plan that I was really caught off guard! So thank you again Nicole, for being part of it! After we said our goodbyes and thankyous, we realized that Alex had left his phone in Nicole's bag! Nicole was so kind to quickly make a trip back to the lake to return us the phone. We are really grateful for that. Most importantly, the photos turned out amazing! "I found Nicole through Instagram while looking for wedding photographers. I had emailed about 30 photographers and slowly narrowed it down. After meeting with Nicole we knew she was the one - first off she bought us Starbucks (good start), showed us the photo books we would get at the end (awesome bonus, great quality books), and was just so kind and funny! Our engagement photos went so well and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. She made us awkward people feel so comfortable and brought our love out in photos. As for the wedding.. I don’t know how Nicole does it. She was on her feet for like 12 hours straight, always moving, smiling and capturing all the moments. Her assistant was awesome too! There wasn’t one moment I felt she missed. We got so many photos and delivered in good time. "Nicole is hands down one of the best photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. At the beginning of the year, my girlfriend and I planned a trip to Banff National Park, where I planned to propose. After stalking my girlfriends Pinterest page I noticed she definitely wanted a photographer to capture the moment. Logically, I did what any good boyfriend would do and found a photographer. I reached out to about a dozen photographers in the Banff area to shoot my proposal. I thought it was going to be a tough choice on a photographer because I am from the US and knew nobody in the area or anything about photography. It became clear quickly that Nicole was by far the best. She was always quick to respond to emails and happy to give advice and recommendations even though I wasn’t even a client yet.Once Nicole said she would be happy to shoot the proposal we immediately began planning. She made the process so stress-free and easy. We Facetimed, emailed and texted until we had the perfect plan for my surprise proposal at Moraine Lake. On the day of the proposal I had no way of communicating with Nicole because I did not have an international phone plan. This made me incredibly stressed all day because any slight change in the day could have derailed our whole plan. Sure enough though I was able to get my girlfriend in the exact location that Nicole and I had planned on meeting for the surprise proposal. I made eye contact with Nicole and knew she was there to capture everything. Although, the only thoughts running through my mind were those of me getting down on one knee. My girlfriend and I were able to get some time to ourselves away from the crowds and I knew it was the perfect opportunity to propose. As my girlfriend looked out at the beauty of Moraine Lake I got down on one knee behind her. When she turned around the look on her face was priceless. I got the yes and Nicole was there to capture everything on camera! It was such an amazing moment and I’m incredibly thankful Nicole was there to capture amazing photos of all of it.The photos Nicole got of the proposal are surreal with Moraine Lake in the backdrop. Since posting some of them on social media, I can’t tell you how many comments we’ve received from family and friends about the beauty of the photos.Not only did she shoot the proposal, but she also did an engagement session for us at Lake Minnewanka! It was such a great experience working with Nicole and the photos she captured for us are more than we could have ever expected. "Nicole eased any stress from day one.."
"Back in February, I knew that I wanted to have a surprise proposal in Banff, specifically Moraine Lake. I had the tall task of trying to find a photographer to capture the moment. After emailing a bunch in the Calgary area, I was down to 3, with Nicole being one of them. I had shown all 3 portfolios to a bunch of my photographer friends and they all agreed that Nicole's was the most impressive. Immediately after telling her that I wanted her to capture this special moment, I knew that I had picked the right one. From the get go, she made an effort to get to know me and my future fiance, all while keeping it a huge secret, something the other photographers didn't do. We had planned a skype session where I would discuss details of how I would like everything to happen. What blew me away was how helpful she was in helping me plan this out. I had never been there before, so it should have been stressful, but Nicole eased any stress from day 1. After we had a plan in place, I was worried about the weather. Nicole was so flexible in allowing us to pick a date where it was forecasted to be sunny and warm! She had blocked off 3 days, which was so nice from the clients perspective. We swapped numbers and were constantly messaging back and forth and finally, when the big day was here, she was right there to capture everything. She went above and beyond. The weather eventually became really cold and even rainy, but Nicole still allowed us to continue the photoshoot exactly how I wanted (despite going a little overtime). My now fiance, for 1 month, still asks me every day how I picked such a perfect photographer. She kept saying how Nicole made the whole photoshoot so easy and comfortable and also super fun! After getting our prints, it was just another verification that I had indeed picked the right photographer. I would have absolutely no problem flying her to my wedding because that's how amazing she and her quality of work is.
